Our school prepares students for bright futures with 6 fundamental learning blocks.
-
MUSIC
Music and movement provide children with so many benefits. They help children develop skills such as cognitive growth, problem-solving, self-expression and social development. Without music and movement in childhood education, a child's learning is incomplete.
-
SCIENCE
Science education activities provide children with opportunities to develop and practice many different skills and attributes. These include communication skills, collaborative skills, team working and perseverance, as well as analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
-
WRITING
Writing with children provides numerous opportunities to develop children's emergent literacy capacities including making meaning/expressing ideas in texts, fine motor skills, concepts of print, phonological awareness, phonics, and creating and exploring texts.
-
MATH
Math is an important part of learning for children in the early years because it provides vital life skills. They will help children problem solve, measure and develop their own spatial awareness, and teach them how to use and understand shapes.
-
GEOGRAPHY
Early geography experiences, such as actively exploring spaces and manipulating objects in the environment, help children develop cognitive skills and begin to understand the world around them.
-
LITERACY
Literacy development is a vital part of a child's overall development. It's the foundation for doing well at school, socialising with others, problem-solving, making decisions, developing independence, managing money and working.
